Los Cabos Airport completed a taxiway expansion that enables it to handle 747s and other wide body aircraft.
That allows the Spain-based Barcelo chain, who recently opened their new 626-room Los Cabos Palace Deluxe, to consider flights from Europe, which would be a first for the destination.
